The oldest wine growing area in the Bordeaux region is Saint Emilion, which lies to the east of the Gironde River, and which is a perfect area for a family vaction. The soil here ranges from limestone gravel to sand which gives excellent drainage and the main grape type grown in this area is the Merlot.

Saint Emilion is very well known for producing a number of high quality, robust and fast maturing red wines and produces about 36 million bottles every year on about 13,000 acres of vineyards.

An article about the special time that grandparents can have and that is playing with their grandchildren

One of the things most grandparents are uncertain of, is what exactly they can do to have fun with their grandchildren. While each child’s tastes will vary, there are actually many fun activities you can do with grandchildren of all ages. It’s easy to find fun things to do with them while they’re young though, because everything seems to make them happy and they’re not overly picky. Just spending time having fun with Grandma and Grandpa is often all they want or need.

With that said though, here are several ideas of fun activities you can do with your grandchildren when they’re between the ages of two to five…

1. Play make believe. This activity is particularly fun for young grand daughters, because they love to dress up, play tea time, or play with their dolls. And having Grandma or Grandpa to play these make believe games and fantasties with them can really make their entire day.

2. Go to the park. Young children really love going out to the park, and when they have someone who will devote time and attention just to them, they love it all the more. Grandma or Grandpa can push them on the swings, catch them when they come down the slide, or simple walk around the park looking at pretty flowers and trees with them.

These were somewhat older bottles as they were passed down from generations before, and there were perfume bottles of just about every size and shape you could imagine. My neighbor just wanted to get whatever she could for them as they had been sitting in her house for a while. She is allergic to many types of perfume and didn’t want to have them around her home.

Finding great bedding for children can be a harder than one might think. When you want something for your own bed, there is a lot of great stuff out there, but I have found that when it comes to my daughters stuff, I have very little from which to choose. I wanted to get my daughter new sheets and a comforter for Christmas this year, and I had a hard time finding anything that I liked.

Basically, the animal sciences had not advanced all that far. Many times, you had to put animals to sleep – It would be all that you could do for help them.  Other areas of animal science were even worse. Working in animal husbandry, for example, was something that I could never do. The idea of those big factories designed to raise animal livestock for meat and dairy disgusted me.
