Why Christian Dating Advice is Different
A lot of young people seem to be obsessed with where they belong and need to characterize their existence. Whether it’s race, education, occupation, class, or religious convection, everyone, it seems, want to, or needs to, fit into a label or sorts. A Christian for example, will be seeking out Christian Dating Advice before going online to meet their match, but why can’t they just be looking for nice people? Why the need to match class, religion, race, education, and so on? After all, we’re all humans, and if that doesn’t make us compatible, then what will! It is this outdated mentality of ’sticking to your own kind’, that causes so much friction in the world.
Whenever anyone thinks they have to belong to a certain group, it’s an almost cult like approach at living a certain lifestyle. It’s the ‘we’re special’ belief, and everyone else are considered as the ‘others’. It’s little wonder why there are so many breakdowns in relationships these days. Let’s face it, if you are only looking for that compatible other within the restraints of your own kind, then choices are somewhat narrowed down. Thankfully, the internet is acting like a release valve, and for the first time ever, those who belong to clicky groups are starting to explore peoples and lifestyles outside of their own tiny circle, much to the disgust of the stuffy older generations. Never mind going online to do a bit of shopping for goods and services, how about connecting to the internet and go searching for a new life!
