Sunday Craft Market
The Sunday Craft Market is determined to bring the country atmosphere back to Hillcrest. On the last weekend of every month from 9am to 1pm the Heritage hosts this popular Sunday market. You’ll find yummy things to stock up your larder, a variety of art and crafts and an assortment of other treasures. Feel free to shop and indulge at the Heritage shops as well-they stay open until 3pm. The parking lot near the Keg is a good place to leave your car for easy access to and from the festivities.
A stroll along the walkway near the restaurant strip is a feast for the senses on Sunday Craft Market day. Live music welcomes visitors and the cobbled street is adorned with tables, each one laden with irresistible goodies.
The food at the market is to die for, foodies will linger over the lovely breads, savoury tarts and farm-made pies. Fruit and veg shopping is a breeze at the fresh produce table with its variety of healthy, delicious offerings. Other tasty titbits include goats milk cheeses, olives, sundried tomatoes, homemade boerewors and venison. There are also sweet treats for the “sweet-toothed”-don’t miss the decadent cupcakes and scrumptious biscuits, rusks and confectionery.
For a Sunday full of memories and great fun, visit the Sunday Craft Market in Hillcrest.
