Remind Your Child To Practice Good Personal Hygiene Habits

Infectious diseases in children are deadly and they are at high risk because of their immune systems have not yet fully developed at the young age. Parents should take the following measure to protect the well being of our children at home, at school or anywhere to practice good personal hygiene habits. Remind your child do practice the follow hygiene habits.

  • cover nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing
  • do not sneeze or cough directly at any other person
  • blow and clear nose gently into a piece of tissue paper and dispose the soil tissue properly
  • do not spit on to the floor or ground
  • wash hands frequently with soap and water
  • do not touch eyes, nose or mouth before washing hand
  • do not share personal items like towels and handkerchiefs with other people
  • do not share eating utensils, drinks or drink from the same cup used by friends
