Make Choosing Your Halloween Kids Costume Simple

Parenting is a tough job, but it’s very rewarding! Between work, your kids, your home, dinner, etc. etc, it’s tough. Sometimes, simplifying any of these tasks can be a blessing.

One of these important tasks that comes around every year is choosing Halloween kids costumes. As a parent, it is easy to get to the Halloween season and suddenly realize you have no idea where to start or even what your child would like to be.

Here are a few ideas that can help:

  1. Start now by considering how your child plays everyday. This may trigger some ideas as to what they would want to transform into for their special Halloween parties and for trick or treating. After all, this is what they day dream about everyday.
  2. Does your child have a favorite movie? There are a lot of great kids movies that your kids have surely fallen in love with.
  3. Consider their general personality. Is your child, no matter what age, fun loving and want a “silly” costume or would cute and cuddly or rough and tough be a better fit?
  4. Take notes! As you have Halloween kid costume ideas, write them down. We all know you have a busy life, so when you are ready to buy that perfect costume, you won’t have to try to “remember” that great idea you had.

Make it simple and have fun!
