Going Green for Christmas
My daughter has been trying to convince us to “go green†for a long time. She has always been an environmentally friendly child. When she was little, she was absolutely convinced that we needed to buy artificial Christmas trees instead of cutting down trees every Christmas. I tried to tell her that the trees on Christmas Tree lots are already dead, but she said I was ruining the environment by supporting those who would cut down trees in the first place. She was only 10 years old. Now, after reading articles like “A Christmas Decision That is Good for Everyone,†I guess she was right. She was always a very bright girl.
