Important Facts to Know When Composing your Wedding Invitations

If you are having a formal wedding, there are just a few rules of wedding invitation etiquette that you should review before composing your wedding invitations. Start by writing out names in full. There should be no abbreviations except for “Mr.” and “Mrs.” You should spell out all of the words including the date and time, use roman numerals for the names instead of 1st, 2nd or 3rd, and if your wedding ceremony is taking place in a church use “request your honour of your presence,” and if your wedding ceremony is outside of a church use “request the pleasure of your company.”
