During the ‘50s and ‘60s, when most moms stayed at home, they often found themselves needing more cash. How did the moms of yesterday find the extra cash they needed? Simple. They worked from home. Some moms took in washing and ironing, some moms sold baked goods, some moms did sewing from home. The point is, they found solutions for their cash needs, while still maintaining the home and being available for the kids after school.
