Our New HDTV and My Favorite Family Memory
My husband brought home a new television for the family room. We had been watching TV on a 15 inch television that was given to us by my grandmother, and we finally had the money to get a new one. So, of course, my husband bought the best, not knowing when we would be able to upgrade again. He bought a 40 inch flat-panel! Then he goes out and gets a new DVD player with HD. The kids were so excited. He hooked it up himself too, after a little help from an article called, “Cables – Figuring Out Your Home Theater System Installation.†After plugging in the television and DVD player, he simply attached an HDMI cable and we were ready to go. I can’t even tell you how excited the kids were when we got to watch Finding Nemo after dinner. A little bit of microwaveable popcorn and it was a night to remember. It’s still one of my favorite memories.
