Pregnancy and Hemorrhoids
One common problem that many women deal with for the first time during pregnancy is hemorrhoids. While some women have dealt with them before pregnancy, many never experience them until they become pregnant. Hemorrhoids occur when blood vessels in the rectal area becoming more swollen than normal. While they may only be small, about the size of a pea, some may get even larger and become closer to grape size. Some women only experience some uncomfortable itching with this condition, but for others it can be very painful, especially when having a bowel movement.
