By now, everybody’s heard of the popular Atkins diet. It’s a low carb diet designed for people to get rid of fat fast by eating more proteins and fats, with a very low carbohydrate intake. Since the body needs to burn the stored carbohydrates in the muscles before it starts burning fat you should lose weight eating like this. However, it won’t necessarily work for everybody and isn’t without some controversy. If you try an Atkins diet plan you need to keep track of your energy levels to see if you can handle the low carb intake required.
