Epidural risk with tattoos
The Wall Street Journal recently reported on possible risks to pregnant women with lower back tattoos. During childbirth, epidural injections are sometimes given to ease the pain. There was some question as to whether the ink from lower back tattoos would enter the spinal fluid at the time of epidural injection.
