Guide to Getting Taller
While some claim that getting taller is purely based on genetics, this website has been designed to provide insight and information regarding the many options which are available to you. First, take note that due to gravity and muscle relaxation, you gain one to two centimeters in high in the morning, right when you wake up and then in the evening before you go to sleep.
Contrary to popular belief, working on with weights does not stunt your height. The thought that it does is simply physiologically untrue unless you are performing your weightlifting incorrectly, unsupervised and using very heavy weights that are far beyond your weight-class. The theory goes that excessive testosterone can stunt height (though it’s unproven/inconclusive). Recognize that testosterone levels increase from weight lifting may be up to 40%, but wouldn’t cause stunted height. Judging by those who lifted during their teenage years (like Arnold Schwarzenegger), it doesn’t appear that weightlifting kept him short.
