Adopt a Pet
Rescue organizations and dedicated volunteers routinely search animal shelters for puppies, kittens, and dogs and cats (article taken from www.pet.biz )of all ages whose time is about to run out, and give them a second chance before they are euthanized. These rescuers use a network of foster families who keep these pets in their own homes, assess their personalities, and then carefully screen potential families who want to adopt a pet. Whatever is in the best interest of the animal is the most important deciding factor when placing an animal in a new home, to make sure the pet ends up in the right home with proper care. The rescue organization also follows up to make sure everything is going smoothly with the new addition to the family, complete with training tips and advice. Most will also take the pet back if it doesn’t work out for some reason or another.
