About Wedding Rings
Most people know the basics behind a wedding ring, also known as a wedding band. Wedding rings symbolize unity, love, faithfulness, devotion, and much more. The wedding ring is worn on the ring finger. Traditionally, in Western cultures it is worn on the left hand, whereas in Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia and some other countries, people where them on the right hand. In European tradtion, it is encouraged that the name of the spouse and the date of the marriage are engraved on the wedding ring.
